I have been an athlete most of my life, years spent speckled with running track, playing basketball and weightlifting. After extracurricular sports were no longer a part of my life, a hunger arose for a new challenge: one that brought me to cross training. Pushing my limits, adding more weight and putting up faster times quickly became my new norm. I can’t imagine life without it!
My turning point was realized in the squat rack back in 2023. I was only a few weeks into my training journey and was testing my max for front squat. Reaching 200lbs felt like flying - and I knew I had more in me. That was the moment I knew I was definitively hooked.
What drives me as a coach is leading people through a more active lifestyle while having fun. For some people, working out is an outlet and for others it’s a necessity so they can better function in their day to day lives. Whatever your goal is - nursing an injury or trying for a new PR - I want to facilitate a fun and safe journey to get there. Activity is fun! Movement is celebrated! I am passionate about helping people find joy and confidence in their bodies and physical abilities.
